Black This color is called Black when no other undertones appear, also not in the sun. |

Black Brindle Black base coat with the slight Fawn brindling. There is heavy Black on the body with the brindling not so heavy throughout. |

Micah (Black Tri Color) |
Black and Tan/Tri Color Tri Color is almost the same as Black and Tan, just with white markings. This color must not be encouraged! |

Black Tri Color Brindle This color is like Tri Color, but in stead of Tan points, there is Fawn brindling. This color must not be encouraged! |

Seal Seal is like Black but with Brown or Red undertones, especially in the sun. |

Brindle The base is darkbrown with Fawn brindling. |

Simba |
Red This brownish/terracotta color we call Red. It can come with and without a Black mask. |
Red-fawn Red-fawn is a lighter version of Red, but it's darker then Fawn. It can come with and without a Black mask. |

Red Brindle The base coat is Red and the brindling is Black and sometimes can appear brownish. |

| Blue-fawn This color is basicly Fawn (mixed with some Blue hairs over the body) and Blue shades around the nose and eyes. |

Sable/Smut This "color" can occur on Reds and Fawns (sometimes on Blues too) and can come with or without a white blaze on the face. Sometimes the overlay will be heavier and sometimes it will be very light. The individual hairs are 2 different colors; lighter color at the shaft, black at the tip. |

Pied
This term is used to describe an animal having two colors of equal proportions, one of which is White. An animal with only a small patch of color should be termed “White with Colored Markings”. |
